Description:

Kekkon Dekinai Otoko follows Shinsuke Kuwano, played by Abe Hiroshi, a highly successful 40-year-old architect who genuinely enjoys his solitary lifestyle. Despite his strong dislike for people, Kuwano possesses an extraordinary talent for designing beautiful, comfortable homes for them. His peaceful routine of cooking delicious dinners and conducting imaginary classical music is suddenly interrupted one night. After playing his music too loudly, his neighbor Michiru, played by Kuninaka Ryoko, knocks on his door to complain, only to find Kuwano collapsing from severe stomach pain. Michiru kindly accompanies him to the hospital, where he is treated by Dr. Natsumi, played by Natsukawa Yui. Despite Kuwano’s incredibly rude behavior, Dr. Natsumi remains dedicated to his care. Soon, both Michiru and Natsumi enter his life, befriending his colleagues Eiji, played by Tsukamoto Takashi, and Maya, played by Takashima Reiko. Together, this group bonds over Kuwano's eccentric habits. Can this stubborn bachelor ever find someone willing to marry him?
