Keizoku The Movie follows the Metropolitan Police Offices Criminal Investigations Section One, which is responsible for solving cold cases. The unit is led by Jun Shibata, a genius but clumsy detective, alongside Mayama, a tough and short-fused cop. Their investigation takes a dramatic turn when a young woman named Nanami Kirishima asks for their help. Nanami wants to solve the mysterious deaths of her parents, who died in a shipwreck fifteen years ago. Convinced that one of the seven survivors is the killer, Nanami invites them to a reunion at her isolated island home, which is dominated by a pseudo-Gothic castle. Among the eccentric suspects are a snarling yakuza, a drunken architect, and a crass middle-aged female tarento. Shibata and Mayama agree to accompany her on this unconventional ride to uncover the truth. Will they finally solve this pending case, or will the island secrets keep it buried forever?
