Description:

In the Japanese drama Kazoku no Uta, Masayoshi Hayakawa, played by Joe Odagiri, is a former rock star whose life has spiraled out of control. Once a famous member of the rock band Out of Justice, Masayoshi now struggles with heavy drinking, hosting a minor early morning radio show, and occasionally attending small fan meetings thirteen years after his band split up. However, his stagnant life takes an unexpected turn when he meets three middle school students, two girls and a boy, and discovers he is actually the father of the girls. Forced into sudden parenthood, Masayoshi decides to care for the children. To protect his fragile career, he must keep their existence a secret from his management office, which is eagerly searching for any reason to terminate his contract. As they live together, this chaotic arrangement slowly changes him. Through the challenges of looking after the children, Masayoshi begins to grow, mature, and reclaim his life.
