Kasuka na Kanojo is an engaging Japanese drama that follows Akira Kamiyama, a former passionate teacher who became deeply traumatized after a failed attempt to stop a bullying incident. Haunted by this past experience, Akira decides to adopt a detached teaching style, vowing never to get involved in his students' personal lives unless absolutely necessary. His life takes an unexpected turn when he begins working at a new middle school and moves into a new apartment. To his utter shock, he discovers that his new home is already occupied by Akane, a spirited ghost who was also a school teacher before she passed away. Despite his reluctance to get involved, Akira cannot ignore Akane's persistent and passionate nature.
