In the heartwarming drama Kamome Diner, Sachie, a woman from Japan, opens a cozy eatery called the Kamome Diner in Helsinki, Finland. However, her restaurant remains empty day after day, except for Tommi, a geeky Finnish boy obsessed with the Gatchaman cartoon. The quiet diner takes a turn when two Japanese ladies, each harboring their own personal issues, arrive and decide to help Sachie run the diner. Slowly, the eatery begins to attract more customers. Interestingly, almost every new visitor seems to be carrying hidden troubles and emotional burdens. Through heartwarming conversations with Sachie and the comforting taste of her freshly made food, the patrons find solace and healing.
