Kaeru no Oujo-sama is a super positive musical comedy set in the declining Yume Dream city. Once celebrated as the prosperous Town of Songs, the town now faces financial ruin, a forced merger, and the threat of becoming a garbage disposal facility. Amidst this crisis, Kurasaka Mio, a struggling Broadway dropout, returns to her hometown. Determined to revive the city, Mio joins forces with The Chansons, a local chorus group made up of mothers. However, she immediately clashes with Isaka Chuko, the mayor's daughter and a traditional housewife trying to rebuild the group. While Mio wants to modernize their routine into a dynamic show choir, Chuko stubbornly clings to tradition. Despite their fierce rivalry and contrasting methods, these two women must find common ground. Together with the other chorus girls, Mio and Chuko team up to chase their dreams, save their beloved music hall, and bring the town of Yume Dream city back to life through the healing power of music.
