Just a Bit Espers plunges us into the life of Bunta, a former salaryman who has utterly lost everything. Fired from his job, his family gone, and savings depleted, he finds himself at rock bottom, aimlessly passing his days in internet cafes. A sudden, unexpected invitation for an interview from a company called Nonamare offers him a lifeline. Miraculously, Bunta secures the job, which turns out to be far from ordinary: he is to become a "slight esper" with the monumental task of saving the world. His new life includes company housing and a perplexing arrangement where he lives with a strange wife. However, Bunta is immediately bound by a mysterious, non-negotiable rule: he must never fall in love with anyone. This bizarre new reality forces Bunta to navigate strange powers, an unusual domestic situation, and a deeply personal, forbidden emotional constraint as he embarks on his world-saving mission.
