Description:

In the emotional drama Juliet In The Rain, eleven-year-old Hikari Morimura dreams of becoming a musical actress. Her life shatters when a beloved actress is murdered and her older brother, Kunihiko, is arrested for the crime. Forced to leave her hometown, Hikari changes her last name to her mother’s maiden name, Kitazono, to escape the past. Now twenty-six, Hikari still dreams of the stage, but her reality is a daily struggle working at a bar and caring for her mother. When she hears Kunihiko is released from prison, she seeks him out to say a final goodbye to the brother who ruined her life.
