Jigoku de Naze Warui is an action-packed comedy centering on the fierce rivalry between Mutoh and Ikegami, two men who share nothing but pure hatred. The tension escalates when Ikegami unexpectedly falls in love with Mitsuko, Mutoh’s daughter and an aspiring actress. Meanwhile, Mutoh wants to celebrate the release of his wife, Shizue, from prison. To give his daughter her big acting debut, Mutoh decides to produce his own movie. The production quickly spirals into chaos when Koji, a movie buff, is mistaken for a filmmaker and hired to direct, prompting them to recruit an actual indie film director named Hirata to help. The situation becomes even more complicated when Ikegami injects himself into the chaotic production of his hated rival. This wild clash of yakuza drama and passionate indie filmmaking makes Jigoku de Naze Warui an incredibly entertaining watch.
