Description:

Instant Swamp is a quirky comedy-drama following Haname Jinchoge, a former office worker who loses her job after her publishing company folds. When her mother falls into a coma while searching for a kappa, Haname discovers the name of her real father, Noburo Jinchoge. Seeking answers, she visits his odd antiquities shop, Light Bulb Co., pretending to be a distant relative. There, she meets Gas, a punk rocker working for Noburo. Haname quickly becomes fascinated by the store's unique charm and realizes she shares her father's knack for selling. Despite the lack of customers, she embraces Noburo's eccentric life advice. When Noburo offers to sell her the family warehouse key for one million yen, Haname eagerly buys it. However, after discovering a shocking secret about Light Bulb Co., she throws the key away in disgust. Realizing too late that she was stubborn for hiding her identity, Haname returns to find Noburo gone. With the support of Gas, Haname embarks on a journey to find him.
