Idol Fever follows a group of young individuals, all in between jobs, who gather at a quiet resort pension in the countryside. Their true mission is far from glamorous: they are diligently preparing together for upcoming job interviews, hoping to secure stable employment. However, their communal efforts and close-knit interactions are hilariously misinterpreted by the local ruralists, who mistakenly believe they are an aspiring idol group.

This humorous misunderstanding escalates when African guests arrive at the pension. Convinced they have a real idol group on their hands, the locals arrange for the bewildered job seekers to perform. Thrust unexpectedly into the spotlight, the group must now navigate the awkward realities of their accidental fame.
