Set during the bustling band boom era of the 1980s, Iden and Tity follows the rock group SPEED WAY as they make their major record debut. Although their first song gains popularity and attracts a growing base of female fans, internal tension begins to brew. Guitarist Nakajima, played by Kazunobu Mineta, faces a deep artistic conflict and growing creative differences with the lead singer Johnny, played by Shido Nakamura. Amidst this emotional turmoil, a mysterious man resembling Bob Dylan, who plays the harmonica, suddenly appears in Nakajima's apartment in the Kōenji area. Strangely, only Nakajima can see this enigmatic figure. As the band's initial popularity begins to fade, the pressure mounts. Faced with a crumbling career and unresolved artistic struggles, Nakajima makes the bold decision to step up and sing by himself.
