The martial arts drama Huo Yuan Jia follows a bitter rivalry between the Huo and Zhao families. Once close brothers under the same shifu, Huo En Di and Zhao Sheng Xian became enemies after En Di was named the sole successor on their master’s deathbed with no other witnesses. While the families constantly clash in intense showdowns, En Di's sickly fourth son, Huo Yuan Jia, is forbidden from learning martial arts. Instead, his father pushes him toward a scholarly path. Hurt but determined, Yuan Jia secretly trains under a mysterious master who once saved his life. The family feud reaches a deadly climax when the eldest disciple brother of En Di and Sheng Xian makes a surprise return, seeking revenge and claiming the succession for himself.
