In the action film Hot War, CIA research scientists Blue Tango and C.S. are developing Project VR Fighter, a high-tech system designed to transform ordinary individuals into deadly combat agents. Their lives are shattered when Alien, a notorious international terrorist, murders C.S.’s fiancée and kidnaps Blue as part of a dangerous conspiracy. To save Blue and stop the terrorist, Tango and C.S. decide to undergo the extreme virtual reality training themselves to become ultimate soldiers. However, the experimental technology of Project VR Fighter carries severe side effects that soon take a toll on their minds. As paranoia and tension rise, the growing friction between the two long-time friends threatens to tear them apart. With their psychological stability slipping away, their critical mission to defeat Alien is put in jeopardy. Can they overcome the mental challenges of the system and work together before it is too late?
