Hogoos Love follows the story of Ho Goo, a man who has never dated in his life and has failed the civil service examination for seven years. He also has a twin sister named Ho Gyeong. Everything changes when he reunites with Do Hee, the most popular girl from his high school days. Do Hee is a competitive member of the national swimming team with a burning desire to win, and she surprisingly talks like one of the guys.
