This captivating story follows Kasumi Ai Aiko, a highly athletic and popular tomboy excelling in her school's basketball club. Her sole peer in skill and popularity is Amano Reo, sparking Ai's intense envy and rivalry. Daily, they compare love letters after practice, with Ai always facing defeat.

Her life takes an unexpected turn when her brother employs her at his maid cafe, Spica. To suit the cafe's aesthetic, Ai undergoes a dramatic transformation with a wig and makeup, concealing her true identity. The plot thickens dramatically when Reo visits the cafe with his teammates. Panicked, Ai's attempts to avoid detection lead to her accidentally spilling drinks all over Reo. While she tidies up, Reo, surprisingly, asks "her" out on a date. Seeing a golden opportunity for payback, Ai eagerly crafts a mischievous plan: she will make Reo fall deeply in love with her disguised persona, only to then orchestrate a humiliating breakup, turning the tables on their rivalry.
