Happiness Come On is a poignant drama about family, struggle, and the search for connection. The story follows Fumie Sawa Suzuki, who marries yakuza Tetsuo Masayuki Imai and gives birth to their son, Tetsuya. Although Fumie raises her son with deep love, difficult times lead her down a dark path of drug addiction. Following hospital treatment, Fumie moves to her parents' house with Tetsuya, but her severe withdrawal symptoms force another hospitalization. Consequently, young Tetsuya is sent to an orphanage. He grows up incredibly lonely, constantly missing his mother, and finds solace in an employee who plays the guitar. After graduating from elementary school, Tetsuya Yuma Ishigaki finally leaves the orphanage determined to find his mother. However, his quest leads to a shocking revelation when he learns that Fumie is now living with a new man.
