Description:

Hanzawa Naoki works as the head of the Loans Division at Tokyo Chuo Bank's Osaka Nishi branch. His career takes a dark turn when the overbearing branch manager, Asano, forces him to approve an unsecured loan of 500 million yen to Nishi Osaka Steel. Unknown to Hanzawa, the company is actually debt-ridden and hiding its financial troubles through window-dressing. Three months later, Nishi Osaka Steel goes bankrupt. To protect his own ambition, Asano scapegoats Hanzawa for the massive loss. Summoned to Tokyo for an internal investigation, Hanzawa refuses to take the fall.
