Description:

In the contemplative drama Gyeongju, ChoiHyun, played by Park HaeIl, returns to South Korea from China, where he teaches at Peking University and lives with his Chinese wife. After attending a friend's funeral, a sudden impulse leads him to visit the city of Gyeongju. He is obsessed with finding an obscene drawing on a tea house wall that he saw seven years prior during a trip with friends. Upon arrival, he meets the new tea house owner, YoonHee, played by Shin MinA, who purchased the shop three years ago and has since covered the drawing with wallpaper. ChoiHyun's awkward questions about the hidden art startle YoonHee. To navigate his growing nostalgia and restlessness, ChoiHyun invites his former lover and college friend, YeoJung, played by Yoon JinSeo, to join him in the city. What follows is a quiet, emotional whirlwind as past and present collide in the peaceful streets of Gyeongju.
