Description:

In the series GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka, former legendary bike gang member Onizuka Eikichi gets a part-time job tending trees at Meishu Academy through his friend Danma Ryuji. When he learns that Yoshikawa Noboru, a student in teacher Fuyutsuki Azusa's class, is being bullied by Uehara Kyoko and other classmates, Onizuka steps in to save him. Impressed by Onizuka's visceral and powerful response to solving problems, the school's president and principal, Sakurai Yoshiko, overrides resistance from vice principal Uchiyamada Hiroshi to hire him. Onizuka is made a teacher and put in charge of the school's most problematic group, Class 24. This engaging story follows the unorthodox teacher as he uses his unique methods to tackle various issues and connect with his troubled students.
