Description:

Good Doctor is an emotional medical drama about Park Shi On, a brilliant young man with savant syndrome and a developmental disability. Despite having the mental age of a ten-year-old, Shi On dreams of becoming a pediatric surgeon. His difficult childhood was marked by an abusive father and a tragic mine collapse that killed his beloved brother. Saved by Doctor Choi Woo Seok, Shi On spends years self-studying medicine. Upon arriving at Seoul Station, he saves a child using emergency first aid, earning him a temporary residency at Sungwon University Hospital. However, he faces heavy skepticism from Kim Do Han, the hospital's top surgeon who dislikes the risky contract Choi Woo Seok signed to protect Shi On. While adapting to his new life, Shi On meets Yoon Seo, a pediatric resident who drunkenly crashes in his apartment. This heartwarming series follows Shi On as he overcomes prejudice to save young lives.
