The horror movie Ghastly follows the tragic and terrifying story of Kahee Hwang Jihyeon, an emotionally damaged woman desperate to overcome her infertility. Driven to madness, Kahee consults a spirit medium and commits a horrific crime, burying a young orphan alive in a large traditional kimchi pot. While this merciless act grants her a son named Bin, Kahee soon meets a brutal, mysterious death. The haunting story continues years later when Bin's aunt Sunny Han Eunjeong and her husband Janghwan Park Seongmin move into the creepy family home to care for the orphaned boy. Unbeknownst to them, the house is severely haunted, and the cursed kimchi pot remains hidden on the property. As strange, supernatural events begin to plague the household, Bin starts exhibiting a deeply disturbing and violent side. This chilling psychological thriller builds intense suspense as the dark secrets of the past resurface, threatening to destroy the new family.
