The movie Futureless Things offers a compelling look at modern youth through the lens of a convenience store on the outskirts of town. The story begins at 07:00 AM as Ki Chul starts his part-time job, learning the ropes from Ha Na, who is about to quit. Ki Chul secretly harbors feelings for her but hesitates to speak up, knowing she is heartbroken over a failed relationship. Throughout the day, other unique part-time workers, including a university student dropout, an indie musician, and a lesbian, gather at the store to do their shifts. However, the routine of this 24-hour convenience store is suddenly shattered at 6:00 PM when the lights unexpectedly go out. With the doors locked and customers trying to enter, an unsuspected ending takes place, wrapping up a mysterious and emotional day for these young souls.
