Fumo Chitai is a gripping drama that follows the powerful journey of Iki Tadashi, a former military leader. Captured by the Soviets during World War II, Tadashi is treated as a war criminal and sentenced to years of labor in a harsh Siberian detention camp. After eleven years of imprisonment, he is released and returns to Japan, beginning the hard process of readjusting to civilian life. Determined to never involve himself in conflict again, much to the joy of his family, Tadashi rejects an offer from a former colleague to work on a defense project. Instead, he sets off on a new path by working at a major trading company. This emotional journey captures his struggle to find peace and redefine himself.
