From the God's World introduces Myung Seon and Sin Taek, the enigmatic leader of the Hwashin Church, as they defect from North Korea and seek refuge in a quiet rural village. Sin Taek, who cannot see, mysteriously communicates with an unknown entity, seemingly assisting its unseen objectives from a world beyond. Meanwhile, Myung Seon is consumed by a desperate and audacious goal: the resurrection of his deceased son.
