The romantic drama Friends 2002 follows Tomoko, played by Fukada Kyoko, who finds herself alone and stranded on a trip to Hong Kong after becoming the victim of a sudden purse-snatching. In a twist of fate, she mistakenly points out Ji Hoon, played by Won Bin, a young Korean man who is wrongfully arrested.
