Description:

The story of Freeter, Ie o Kau follows Take Seiji, a young man who quits his job after just three months. Lacking dreams, savings, and a good relationship with his family, he becomes a hikikomori. However, his life takes a dramatic turn when his mother falls ill with depression. Forced to take action, Seiji takes a part-time job at a construction site and decides to rebuild his life. He vows to buy a house for his family, despite being just a freeter. At the job site, he meets Chiba Manami, who graduated from a top-class university and works for a well-known general contracting firm. Manami is the complete opposite of Seiji, causing their personalities to clash at first. Yet, through their shared experiences, they gradually come to understand each other in this inspiring tale of resilience, family, and unexpected connections.
