Description:

Falling into the Evening explores the emotional turmoil of Rica, whose four-year relationship with Kengo takes an unexpected turn. Despite their seemingly happy life, shadowed only by Rica's lingering guilt over an accident involving Kengo's friend, Kengo suddenly announces his love for a mysterious woman named Hanako and moves out. Heartbroken but unable to hate him, Rica struggles to cope with the separation.

Her confusion deepens when Hanako unexpectedly appears at Rica’s door, followed soon after by Kengo, who is searching for his new lover. This leads to an uncomfortable cohabitation between the three. However, the unusual arrangement is disrupted when Hanako begins disappearing for nights without explanation. While Kengo eventually tires of the situation, Rica, driven by a need for answers, resolves to uncover the truth behind Hanako’s secretive movements and the complex web of their interconnected lives.
