The chilling horror movie Ekusute begins with an unsettling discovery: the corpse of a young girl, stripped of her organs and shaven of her hair to make extensions. This body ends up in a morgue guarded by Yamazaki Osugi Ren, a watchman with an intense hair fetish. To his excitement, Yamazaki realizes the dead girl's silky hair is miraculously still growing. He begins harvesting it to create hair extensions, which he sells to various customers. However, a terrifying curse is unleashed as the buyers are soon found strangled to death by their own hair. The dark plot deepens when Yamazaki encounters Yuko Kuriyama Chiaki, a flighty aspiring hairstylist.
