Description:

Dreams and Glory immerses viewers in early 20th century China, a land plagued by warlords. Young Mao Ze Dong, guided by Li Da Zhao and Chen Du Xiu, passionately embraces Marxism, actively participating in the revolutionary movement and co-founding the Communist Party of China. Worker Zhao Zhao becomes a devoted follower, close to Chen Du Xiu. As Chiang Kai Shek betrays the revolution and Li Chun Feng joins the reactionaries, Mao spearheads the Autumn Harvest Uprising, establishing a vital base in Jinggangshan.

Facing immense challenges, including the failed fifth anti-encirclement campaign and the arduous Long March, Mao’s leadership is decisively affirmed at the pivotal Zunyi Conference, saving the party and the Red Army. The nation then unites to resist the Japanese invasion. Subsequently, Mao commands the People's Liberation Army in a triumphant civil war against Chiang Kai Shek, driving him to Taiwan. The film culminates with China's heroic victory in the Korean War, showcasing New China's resolute stand in the East.
