Dreamland unravels the extraordinary journey of Mi Xiaoxiao, an aspiring manhua artist feeling isolated and helpless. Struck by a severe illness, she drifts into a feverish dream, finding herself trapped within the brutal Nine Spirits Demon Realm of her very own comic book. Amidst constant peril from higher-level demons, she endures several brushes with death, forging unexpected alliances with the characters she created. Together, they must confront a looming calamity threatening their fantastical world, yet Mi Xiaoxiao, the author, cannot identify the villain, suggesting a mysterious flaw in her own story. The adventure deepens in a second dream, where a character from her comic manifests in the real world. Empowered to traverse dimensions and wield a "Gods hand" as the author, Mi Xiaoxiao strives to rewrite her beloved characters' fates. However, her interventions inadvertently unleash a powerful butterfly effect, spiraling beyond her control and challenging her role as creator.
