Dreamboy is a charming romantic film about Cyd Bea Alonzo, a hopeless romantic supermarket salesgirl who spends her spare time reading romantic novels and dreaming of her perfect match. Her life takes an exciting turn when she meets Philip Piolo, the handsome but arrogant owner of the store where she works. Although she falls for him, she feels she does not belong in his glamorous world. Soon after, Cyd is saved from a snatchthief by Eboy Piolo, a man with an uncanny resemblance to Philip. She starts falling for Eboy but feels betrayed after learning about his past. Trying to forget both men, Cyd meets Jaime Piolo, who also looks exactly like Philip. Once again, she falls in love, believing she has found her true love. However, Cyd soon discovers that everything was a setup. After Jaime explains the truth and confesses his genuine love, she forgives him, bringing this sweet romance to a happy ending.
