Down With Love is a heartwarming romantic comedy about Xiang Yu Ping, a seemingly cold and ruthless lawyer who is forced to take in his orphaned niece and nephew, Yu Fei and Yu Ting. Struggling to find a suitable nanny, his secretary Yang Duo recommends her tomboyish sister, Yang Guo, falsely claiming she is a lesbian to secure the job. Despite initial pranks, Yang Guo successfully bonds with the children and softens Yu Ping's heart. After surviving a dangerous kidnapping together, Yu Ping realizes he is falling in love with her. However, complications arise when Yu Ping's ex-girlfriend, superstar Hui Fan, tries to win him back with the help of his best friend, Ke Zhong. Ke Zhong pretends to date Yang Guo, leading to heartbreak and betrayal. Once the truth is revealed, Yang Guo flees, but Yu Ping rejects Hui Fan and searches for her. Ultimately, Yang Guo and Yu Ping confess their love, leading to a beautiful marriage and a joyful family life years later.
