In the comedy film Dobol Trobol, Macario, played by Dolphy Quizon, is an aging chef and security officer at an exclusive resort. He ended up there after fleeing his nagging wife, Gabriela, played by Carmi Martin. Meanwhile, Arthur, played by Vic Sotto, accidentally joins a gang of thieves. After unexpectedly rescuing a businessman during a strange grill restaurant robbery, Arthur is rewarded with a security guard job at the same resort. Upon his arrival, Macario mistakes Arthur for a wealthy guest. Seizing the opportunity, Arthur takes advantage of the mix-up with outrageous demands. The conflict escalates when Macario discovers Arthur is actually his new co-worker. To make matters worse, the two must share a single room. This forced cohabitation sparks a chaotic and hilarious rumble between the two men, turning the resort upside down.
