Description:

Dek Seple is a compelling drama set in a volatile 1977 border village, ravaged by conflict between soldiers and communists. During a brutal fight, Sak, a dedicated teacher, tragically loses his wife and young daughter. Miraculously, his infant son is rescued by Pew, who adopts him and renames him Tin. Raised in poverty without education, Tin eventually drifts into a life of petty crime, joining a gang of thieves.

Years later, a fateful purse snatching leads Tin to seek refuge in a school, where he encounters Sak. Unaware of their shared past, Sak helps the troubled youth and offers him a chance at a better life by inviting him to live with him. However, old habits are hard to break, and Tin soon finds himself arrested once more. Sak, seeing potential and a glimmer of hope, bails him out, determined to adopt him and send him back to school. Yet, for Tin, already deep within the clutches of a difficult life, the question remains: is it truly too late for a fresh start?
