Deep Red Love is a haunting supernatural drama following high school student Juri, portrayed by Tao Tsuchiya, who tragically leaps to her death. Following her suicide, Juri wanders her house, school, and streets as an invisible spirit. She suffers from profound loneliness as her mother and classmates cannot see or respond to her. Her isolation is shattered when she encounters a terrifying monster she names the Bug Man, a creature that tempts weak-minded humans toward suicide. Juri's ghostly existence finds a brief spark of joy when she meets a young girl named Ringochan who can actually see her. They share happy moments playing at the park, but this peace is short-lived. Upon returning, Juri is horrified to see Ringochan's mother with a grim face, with the menacing Bug Man standing directly behind her, signaling a dark and dangerous threat to her new friend's family.
