Description:

The film "Dad is Back" introduces Dong Goo, a struggling lowlife thug whose miserable existence takes an unexpected turn. He accidentally acquires a bankbook containing a staggering one billion won, instantly seeing a path to a better life. Determined to claim the fortune, Dong Goo sets off for Busan, focused on obtaining the elusive PIN for the account. However, his mission quickly becomes complicated. Upon arrival, he encounters an eight-year-old boy, Bok Gi, who immediately believes Dong Goo is his long-lost dad. This surprising mistaken identity also leads him to Bok Gi's mother, Ae Sook.
