Crying Fist is a gripping sports drama that follows two broken men searching for redemption through boxing. Gang Taeshik, played by Choi Minsik, is a former Asian Games silver medalist ruined by gambling debts and a devastating fire. Now a street boxer, he fights to keep the love of his son Seojin amidst an impending divorce. Meanwhile, rebellious teenager Yoo Sanghwan, played by Ryoo Seungbeom, ends up in juvenile detention, where he discovers boxing as a way to channel his anger. Driven by family tragedy and grief, Sanghwan enters an amateur league tournament. As both fighters claw their way through the championship, their paths inevitably collide in the final match. With Taeshik fighting for his last shred of dignity and Sanghwan fighting for a sense of direction, the two deliver the ultimate fight of their lives.
