Description:

Set in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, this Chinese Paladin Season 5 prequel unveils a gripping martial arts saga. Young master Wen Xuan, street artist Jin Yu, and rundown Xie Cang Hai decide to join an upcoming pugilistic competition. En route, they meet Jiang Cheng, a martial artist framed and expelled from the Ouyang sect. Wen Xuan and childhood friend Huang Pu protect Jiang Cheng, fostering deep friendships among the youths.

Suddenly, Jin Yu contracts a mysterious, life-threatening illness. Wen Xuan and Mu Qing Qing embark on a perilous journey to Northern Jiang, seeking a cure for Jin Yu and justice for Jiang Cheng. They uncover Gu Mu as the true culprit. Amid escalating conflicts, Jiang Cheng and Wen Xuan drift apart, and Xie Cang Hai sacrifices himself to stop Gu Mu. Wen Xuan, unwavering, ultimately defeats Gu Mu and thwarts his evil schemes. Following this victory, Wen Xuan disappears with Jin Yu. Mu Qing Qing faithfully awaits at Siyun Peak, hearing familiar footsteps one day, hinting at their hopeful return.
