In the music comedy Check It Out, Yo!, tomboy Yui Mao Inoue takes her three male friends to see a live performance of local Okinawan rap group Workaholic. Inspired by the crowd's wild reaction, the boys decide to start their own rap group to impress girls. Toru Hayato Ichihara has an extra motivation: he wants to win the heart of Nagisa Ayumi Ito, his older and more sophisticated love interest. With only two weeks to learn their instruments, their first show ends in predictable humiliation. Determined to save their pride, they give it another shot, ditching the instruments for a sampler to stay truer to themselves. Amidst the musical chaos, romantic dilemmas unfold. Will Toru successfully capture Nagisa's heart? More importantly, will Yui ever gather the courage to confess her love to Toru, or will she just keep practicing her advanced pro wrestling techniques on him instead?
