"Catman" introduces Liang Qu, a sophisticated, confident, and somewhat cold man harboring an extraordinary secret: he is half-cat, half-human. This transformation occurred years ago after an accidental bite from an elder catman. He faces a strict nine-year countdown to regain his full humanity, with two critical conditions: no one must discover his secret, and he absolutely cannot fall in love.

Adding complexity to his already challenging existence, his first love, Miao Xiao Wan, an honest and driven woman, develops a revolutionary app capable of translating cat sounds and language. However, upon its release, the app unexpectedly triggers massive, global problems. Desperate to rectify the widespread chaos, Miao Xiao Wan turns for help to Liang Qu, who has now become a renowned cat researcher. As they work together to mitigate the app's disastrous consequences, old flames threaten to rekindle, placing Liang Qu's carefully guarded secret and his very chance at becoming human once more in grave danger.
