The movie Breathless tells the story of SangHoon, played by Yang IkJune, a lowlevel gangster who collects money for his loan shark friend. Fuelled by a troubled childhood and an abusive father, SangHoon is consumed by deep rage, lashing out at relatives, friends, and strangers with savage violence. One day, while walking on a residential road, SangHoon spits on the sidewalk and accidentally hits a brash high school student named YeonHee, played by Kim Kkobbi. When YeonHee demands he clean up his mess, SangHoon knocks her out with a punch to the face. Instead of leaving, SangHoon sits across from YeonHee until she regains consciousness. In a surprising turn, he offers to buy her a beer, marking the beginning of an unusual friendship. This gritty drama explores their complex bond.
