Break Up Club follows Joe Jaycee Chan, a twenty-something slacker who only takes one thing seriously in his life: his on-and-off girlfriend, Flora Fiona Sit. Following their latest devastating breakup, Joe auditions for a documentary directed by Barbara Wong, who plays herself. Armed with a video camera to record his life, Joe unexpectedly discovers a magical website that promises to reunite him with Flora. However, this miracle comes with a steep price: he must break up his best friend Patrick Tang and his girlfriend. Though the website works efficiently and brings the couple back together, their newfound happiness is short-lived. Joe stubbornly refuses to change his immature ways, and Flora soon finds herself drawn to Hayama Hiro, a talented graffiti artist. These mounting complications threaten to break the couple up once more, forcing Joe to confront his own immaturity.
