Directed by Song Hae Sung, Boomerang Family is a hilarious yet touching comedy-drama about a dysfunctional family forced to reunite under one roof. The story begins when In Mo, played by Park Hae Il, faces a dual crisis in his marriage and career as a struggling director. With nowhere else to turn, he reluctantly moves back in with his mother, portrayed by Yoon Yeo Jeong. However, he is not the only one returning home. His sister Mi Yun, played by Kong Hyo Jin, is going through a divorce and decides to move back too, bringing along her rebellious teenage daughter, Jin Ji Hee. To make matters worse, their older ex-con brother Han Mo, played by Yoon Je Moon, has been living at home this entire time and deeply resents this sudden intrusion. Forced to coexist, these three troubled siblings must navigate their chaotic relationships and put up with each other as they try to get their messy lives back in order.
