Bishonen is a captivating romantic drama centering on Jet, a handsome gay hustler who only cares about himself. His life changes when he sees Sam and Kana, immediately falling in love with Sam. To help him, Jet's friend Ching places a personal ad in a magazine, leading to a seemingly accidental meeting between Jet and Sam, who is actually a police officer. As Jet tries to win Sam over, a web of past relationships unravels. Unbeknownst to Jet, Sam previously had an affair with pop star K.S., and Ching once harbored an unrequited love for Sam, then known as Fai. When Ching discovers Jet and Sam together, a confrontation ensues. After Jet pursues Sam to his apartment, they share a passionate kiss but are interrupted. Fearing his father's ultimate disappointment, Sam tragically takes his own life. Devastated, Jet continues his life as a hustler, eventually receiving a letter that confirms Sam truly loved him.
