Set in the beautiful Hong Kongs Paradise Cove, the sports drama Beach Spike follows Sharon and Rachel, who work at a restaurant owned by their uncle Tao, a kung fu master. The peace of their community is threatened when the wealthy Bu family plans to transform the beach into an exclusive playground for the rich, displacing the local youth. After losing a volleyball match to Mrs. Bus skilled Eurasian daughters, Natalie and Phoenix, Sharon and Rachel receive a high-stakes challenge. If the local girls can win the prestigious All Hong Kong Womens Volleyball tournament, Mrs. Bu will revise her redevelopment plans. Feeling hopeless and outmatched, the girls turn to Uncle Tao. By teaching them kung fu skills to apply to their volleyball game, Tao helps Sharon and Rachel prepare for the ultimate athletic showdown to save their beloved beach.
