The emotional Japanese movie Bakamono follows a heartbreaking journey of love, loss, and redemption. Ten years ago, college student Hide, played by Hiroki Narimiya, met Yuki, played by Yuki Uchida, an older woman, through work. They quickly became passionate lovers, with Hide falling deeply in love with Yuki. However, their happiness was short-lived. The following year, Yuki abruptly announced her marriage to another man, leaving Hide completely devastated. Although Hide managed to finish college and secure a job, his intense yearning for Yuki spiraled into severe depression and alcoholism. Meanwhile, Yuki suffered a tragic fate of her own when a terrible car accident left her with a life-altering injury. Now, ten years later, the two former lovers cross paths once again.
