Bad Couple is a hilarious comedy movie that follows the chaotic romance between an indebted criminal detective and a relentless bond company worker. Detective Bang KeukHyun, played by Lim Chang Jung, finds himself in deep financial trouble with terrible credit after a loan he guaranteed for a friend goes delinquent. Enter Kim MuRyeong, played by Uhm JiWon, a dedicated customer relations representative for a credit company whose sole job is to pursue debtors day and night. When Bang KeukHyun becomes her next assignment, a fierce telephone war begins. The elusive detective rarely answers her persistent calls, and when he does, he unleashes a barrage of profanity. The comedy reaches its peak when the two rivals finally meet face-to-face at the police station, completely unaware of each other's true identities. As they continue to argue, unexpected sparks fly, leading them to eventually fall in love.
