Description:

A high school student named Michiko, who lost her father at age 10, receives her first cell phone as a birthday gift from her mother, Kyoko. She is soon pressured by classmate Awano Taeko to join a social networking site called AvaQ. Initially uninterested in avatars, Michiko unexpectedly becomes obsessed with decorating her virtual self. To acquire virtual currency, she resorts to blackmailing a salary worker. Her dedication pays off when she wins AvaQ's annual best-dressed avatar contest, transforming her into the new queen of the classroom. Michiko's transformation deepens as she establishes an unusual avatar club and undergoes plastic surgery to match her avatar's enhanced appearance, drastically changing her personality. However, her new status brings challenges, including threats from her homeroom teacher Mizokuchi Kato Toranosuke and betrayal from fellow classmate Yamanouchi. Unfazed, Michiko embarks on a path of relentless revenge.
