Assault Girls is a thrilling sci-fi action movie set in a virtual reality game. After a global nuclear war turns the planet into a desert battlefield, three beautiful female assault hunters enter Avalon. Gray, played by Meisa Kuroki, pilots a fighter plane. Lucifer, portrayed by Rinko Kikuchi, is a sorcerer who can transform herself. Colonel Hinako Saeki is a woman fighter equipped with a rifle. Together, they hunt giant sand whales called Sunakujira, creatures with multiple eyes that move through volcanic ash. The hunters must use both land and sky to fight these monsters. The main feature of this virtual game is battling Madara Sunakujira, the biggest giant sand whale. Game Master Ian Moore watches the players from the air, reminding Gray to cooperate with Lucifer and Colonel to overpower their giant foe. Will Madara get defeated in the end?
